How do I create a custom Write Review Link?

We understand that everyone appreciates to have their life made as easy as possible. This is why we have created an easier write-review form where you can pre-fill your customer’s details and send them a link that fills out all their information for them.

Please see the instructions below:

Unless you are a home builder, all you need to do is add the customer’s first name, last name and email address in the bold sections of the link and then send them the new link.

http://www.productreview.com.au/write-review/metricon.html?ref_r=bmWriteReviewLink&first_name=customer_first_name&last_name=customer_last_name&email=customer_email_address

As an example, this is how the form will look for John Citizen:

http://www.productreview.com.au/write-review/brandexample.html?ref_r=bmWriteReviewLink&first_name=John&last_name=Citizen&email=john.citizen@example.com.au

If you would like to test the link before sending it, please make sure you copy and paste it into an incognito/private window or sign out of your Brand Management account. Otherwise, the custom link will not work.

Home Builders

As building a home is such a big project, we ask that customers include some extra information when they submit a review for your listing. To make it easier for them to write the review, you can pre-fill these details for them.

To do this, simply add the “&” sign, followed by the attribute name, e.g. “build_location”, and finished with the “=” symbol.

For example:

http://www.productreview.com.au/write-review/homebuilderexample.html?ref_r=bmWriteReviewLink&first_name=customer_first_name&last_name=customer_last_name&email=customer_email_address&build_location=customer_build_location&build_suburb=customer_build_suburb

This is how the form will look for John Citizen:

http://www.productreview.com.au/write-review/homebuilderexample.html?ref_r=bmWriteReviewLink&first_name=John&last_name=Citizen&email=john.citizen@example.com.au&build_location=Sydney&build_suburb=Kirribilli
