Why can't I request that a reviewer be asked to provide proof of purchase?

Requesting proof of purchase is done at the discretion of our content team. They may choose to request proof of purchase if they find any inconsistencies within a review or its metadata. They may also choose not to request proof of purchase after having fully assessed a review.

While we understand that brand managers want to ensure the quality of the reviews on their listing, proof of purchase is just one amongst many strategies we use to detect strange activity.
