Instances when review imports may be possible
Reviews will only be considered for imports if they meet the following criteria
- Reviews must have been collected by a recognised third-party review platform, application, or service that records sufficient metadata about reviewers and their submissions.
- The source platform must permit businesses to export their review content and have that content republished on another platform. It is the brand's responsibility to verify that importing reviews from the source platform complies with that platform's terms and any applicable legal requirements.
- By submitting a review import request, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to provide the review data any associated reviewer information to ProductReview for publication.
- ProductReview reserves the right to reject, suspend, or remove imported reviews if we reasonably believe they have been imported without the necessary permissions, do not comply with our policies, or otherwise compromise the integrity of our platform.
- The exports that the businesses receives must be supplied in a raw spreadsheet that includes the following data points (these are required fields):
- Review ID
- Product ID
- Product name
- Reviewer display name
- Reviewer email
- Date and time when the review was submitted
- Rating
- Body of the review
- Brand manager’s response
- Date and time when the brand manager responded to the review

- Brand Manager must contact us at bizdev@productreview.com.au to confirm their eligibility for this service.
- Brand Manager must ensure they are on the correct brand management subscription plan before requesting the import (a Premium-tier plan paid annually).
- Brand Manager must email bizdev@productreview.com.au a full export of the review content they intend to import (this document must be raw without any edits or amendments as this may cause inconsistencies in the data and result in a failed import) and inform ProductReview.com.au of the listing they would like to import the reviews to.
- ProductReview.com.au will review the requested import file. If the imported reviews display any suspicious patterns, inaccuracies, or other moderation flags the import may be rejected. The acceptance of an import is up to the discretion of the ProductReview.com.au Moderation Team.
-
ProductReview.com.au will then begin the import. This may take up to 2 weeks as the file will be manually processed by our team - moderation flags or inaccuracies with the file may cause additional delays.
Note: the importing process can only be done a maximum of once every 6 months. - ProductReview.com.au will inform the brand manager once this has been completed and these reviews should be visible on the relevant listing pages.
