To identify how many impressions and clicks were recorded on your own listing compared to your competitors’ listings in your ProductReview Ads, you will need to export your performance report and do some simple calculations.
This is typically done to see:
- how many people clicked from a competitor’s listing onto your listing, and
- how many people clicked from your listing onto your landing page.
To separate the data for your listing compared to your competitors' listings please use the following steps as a guide:
Step 1:
Select the correct period that you would like to use for your report.
Step 2:
Click ‘Export to CSV’ to download the data as a CSV file.
Step 3:
Look at the columns ‘Sidebar impressions’ and ‘Sidebar clicks’. The current figures show a cumulative number (all competitor listings and your own listing).
Step 4:
Go back to the Brand Management dashboard report.
Step 5:
Go to the Page filter and click ‘Listing’.
Step 6:
Filter the Listing Page and data to see your own listing.
Step 7:
Click ‘Export to CSV’ to download the data as a CSV file.
Step 8:
Look at the columns ‘Sidebar impressions’ and Sidebar clicks’. These figures show the impressions and clicks for your listing only.
Step 9:
Subtract the impression and clicks for your listing from the cumulative amount (shown in Step 3) to find the total number of impressions and clicks for all your competitors’ listings.
